  • RAW+JPEG and RAW+HEIC (capture both simultaneously)

What is the difference between ProRAW and DNG?

Film Simulations & Filters

How many film simulations are included?

Over 40 built-in film simulations, including Fujifilm X-series emulations, color negative, slide film, and black and white styles.

Can I import my own LUT files?

Yes. Vistax supports .cube LUT file import. Create LUTs in Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, or any other tool, and import them into Vistax.

Can I apply film simulations to existing photos?

Yes. Use the Vistax Photo Extension directly within the iOS Photos app to apply any film simulation (built-in or custom) to photos already in your library.

Are film simulations destructive?

No. All simulations are applied non-destructively. You can always retrieve the original image using iOS photo edits.

Can I see the film simulation in the viewfinder before taking a photo?

Yes. Vistax shows your selected simulation live in the viewfinder as you compose your shot.

Portrait Mode & Depth

Which devices support Portrait Mode in Vistax?

Portrait Mode works on iPhones with dual or triple camera systems (iPhone 7 Plus and later).

Is the depth data saved?

Yes. Vistax saves the depth data to your captured files, allowing you to modify or reconstruct the depth effect in other apps.

Workflow & Camera Kits

What are Camera Kits?

Camera Kits let you save your complete camera configuration — exposure mode, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, film simulation, crop format, and more — as a reusable preset. Recall any Kit with a single tap.

Can I access Camera Kits from the home screen?

Yes. Vistax offers both iOS Home Screen widgets and Lockscreen widgets for quick access to your saved Camera Kits.

What is Zen Mode?
